How we handle your data when you visit this website or contact us. In short: we collect the bare minimum, and health data never passes through the website.

What data we process through this website
Browsing data. The website is hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure; like any website, the server logs technical data (IP address, pages requested, browser) for security and operational purposes.
Statistics. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to understand, in aggregate form, how the website is used, and Microsoft Clarity to analyse navigation anonymously (heatmaps and session replays); text typed into input fields is masked. We also use the Google Ads tag to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.
Data you send us. If you call us or write to us on WhatsApp or by e‑mail, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, reason for contact) solely to reply and manage your appointment.
Online booking. Booking runs on Denteo, the Swiss practice-management platform used by our practices: the data you enter (name, contact details, appointment) is processed to manage the appointment itself.
Maps and fonts. Our practice pages embed Google Maps to show you where we are, and the website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts: in both cases your browser communicates with Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
Health data
We do not collect health data through this website. Patients' clinical information is processed exclusively at our practices, is protected by medical professional secrecy and is never disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
Legal basis and purposes
We process data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable to visitors from the European Union, the GDPR. The purposes are: running the website securely, replying to your enquiries, managing appointments, and improving our content and communication.
Service providers
Some services involve processing by third-party providers, each under its own privacy policy: Microsoft (Azure hosting and Clarity), Google (Analytics, Ads, Maps, Fonts), Denteo AG (online booking, Switzerland), Meta/WhatsApp (if you choose to write to us on WhatsApp). Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland; in that case the transfer takes place to countries with adequate protection or on the basis of recognised safeguards.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses technical cookies required for its operation and statistics cookies linked to the services described above (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity). We do not use cookies to sell data to third parties. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings; for Google Analytics an opt-out add-on is also available.
Retention
Browsing and statistical data are kept for the technical time required for the purposes described. Data linked to enquiries and appointments is kept for the duration of the care relationship and for the statutory periods applicable to medical records.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, or object to processing, by writing to segreteria@studidentistici.ch. You also have the right to contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
